Conduct detailed quantitative financial analysis, including profit & loss assessments, cash flow analysis, and variance analysis to identify trends and inform strategic planning. Manage complex data collection processes from various ERP systems, accounting software, and financial databases like Hyperion and Bloomberg to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data. Interpret financial statements and reports to provide insightful recommendations for cost control, budgeting, and investment opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business analysis projects, supporting corporate finance initiatives with rigorous quantitative research and strategic planning. Prepare detailed financial reports, presentations, and documentation that articulate findings clearly for executive leadership and stakeholders. Experience Proven experience in financial analysis within the financial services industry or related sectors such as investment banking or corporate finance. Extensive proficiency in SQL for data extraction, Pivot tables for data summarization, VBA for automation tasks, and Excel data analysis techniques. Strong background in accounting principles including corporate accounting, governmental accounting (if applicable), and cost accounting practices. Hands-on experience with financial software such as Hyperion, ERP systems, Bloomberg terminals, and other financial data analysis tools. Demonstrated ability to develop complex financial models using Excel or specialized software to support forecasting and strategic decision-making. Knowledge of business intelligence platforms like Power BI or Tableau for creating interactive visualizations that support business insights. Excellent understanding of financial concepts including profit & loss statements, budgeting processes, cash flow management, and financial statement interpretation. Strong analytical skills combined with a passion for quantitative research, strategic planning, and continuous process improvement.
