Job Description
FP&A Analyst-Commercial Operations & Analytics Job Description The FP&A Analyst plays a critical role in partnering with Sales, Commercial and Operations teams to deliver financial insight, performance analytics and decision support. This position is highly analytical, Excel-intensive and commercially focused supporting pricing, margin management, forecasting and customer profitability initiatives. The role requires comfort working cross-functionally with Sales and Inside Sales teams while translating data into actionable business recommendations. Key responsibilities include supporting annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and long-range planning with a strong focus on revenue, margin and volume drivers; partnering closely with Sales, Inside Sales and Commercial Leadership to support revenue forecasting, pipeline analysis and demand planning; analyzing customer profitability, pricing performance, rebate programs and contract economics; analyzing financial performance versus plan and explaining variances and trends. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field; 5+ years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, business analytics or a related role; advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, large data sets, VBA a plus). Preferred qualifications include experience in the Paper Industry or another continuous manufacturing environment (chemicals, metals, packaging, building products); familiarity with ERP systems and BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, SAP, Oracle). MBA or other advance degree a plus.
