Must have experience reviewing accounting and pay documents, travel vouchers, and vendor payments to ensure supporting documention is proper and valid. Performs post-audit voucher reviews. GS 09: Must have one year equivalent to least next lower grade level. Must have experience with laws, DOD Directives, finance regulions and financial management and opering procedures relive to the entitlements and allowances reled to the payment of military personnel, civilian personnel, vendors, and travelers. Must have experience with military pay and allowances, civilian pay and allowances, vendor payments, and travel entitlements. GS 11: Must have one year equivalent to least next lower grade level. Must have experience and knowledge of reled financial regulions and rulings covering diverse types of pay transactions to typically function as a technical authority for the resolution of an extensive range of issues or problems. Experience and knowledge of the overall DFAS mission and functions, operion, and relionships to other agencies to respond to special inquiries and task organizions for informion and responses. Must have experience of multiple financial and accounting systems in order to perform studies reled to management improvement, productivity improvement and management controls to analyze and evalue criteria for the enhancement of all assigned Pay programs (Military Pay, Civilian Pay, Accounts Payable, and Travel Pay). Ability to apply fact-finding and investigive techniques. Must have experience with automed financial systems to participe in a variety of required operions audits and analytical reviews reled to pay entitlement determinions.Educion Minimum Educional Requirement:
Completed undergradue or gradue educion, the awarded college degree should be in one of, or a combinion of the following disciplines: accounting, business, finance, economics, mh, stistics, industrial management, marketing, quantitive methods, or organizional management.
