Job Description

Regeneron's Finance Operations Team, located in Sleepy Hollow, NY, is seeking an energetic Finance Operations Analyst. As a member of the Finance Operations team, you will be responsible for assisting day-to-day operations and continuous improvement initiatives for the Accounting departments. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of accounting processes. Your main tasks will include gathering data, performing analysis, and supporting projects and initiatives as needed. You will be a link between the Accounting team, the Finance Operations team, and various cross functional teams throughout the organization. This is an on-site role that will require 4 days in the office per week. The contract role is approved for 6 months with the potential for extension.
What You'll Do:
Perform ad hoc requests related to reporting and data analysis to assist other team members, management, and audit requests. Support the analysis and implementation of accounting operation functions relating to new technology projects throughout the organization Prepare documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for processes, enhancements and projects as needed Responsible for preparation of various schedules impacting the month-end close and reporting Assist team with the execution of test scripts for various projects Demonstrating knowledge of technical accounting standards under US GAAP, and its application to tasks at hand Participating in process improvement initiatives Demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills, including effective presentation skills We'd be a fit if you have: Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in accounting, finance, data analysis and/or finance operations High proficiency with Microsoft applications is required, especially Excel formulas, pivots, etc. Familiarity with relevant tools such as Orace, Hyperion, Hubble, Qlik. You are a proactive and analytical problem solver with the ability to think outside of the box You have the willingness to learn new processes and technologies and can work in a collaborative and fast paced environment Does this sound like you?
