Travel Requirement:

On-site in Central New York approximately 3-4 days per yearPosition OverviewWe are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making for a growing manufacturing organization. This role will work closely with senior leadership and operational teams to provide financial insights, budgeting support, forecasting, and performance analysis that drive informed business decisions.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead financial analysis related to manufacturing operations, cost structures, and profitabilityDevelop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgetsAnalyze production costs, margins, and operational efficiency metricsPartner with operations and leadership teams to evaluate cost reduction opportunities and process improvementsPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packagesSupport variance analysis comparing actual results to budget and forecastMonitor key manufacturing KPIs, including labor efficiency, material costs, and overhead absorptionAssist with long-range financial planning and strategic initiativesProvide data-driven insights to support pricing strategies, capital investments, and operational decisionsBuild and maintain financial dashboards and reporting toolsCollaborate with accounting during month-end close to ensure accurate financial reportingPresent findings and recommendations to senior leadership
