Job Description

Senior Financial Analyst Location:
Wappingers Falls, NY – hybrid after training period
Compensation:
$90,000 – $125,000 + bonus About the company: 40+ year old company that has been growing year over year. National company with multiple different entities. Responsibilities:
Support the Corporate Accounting team in driving a disciplined, timely month‑end close, including process improvements across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles. Document and enhance standard operating procedures for month‑end, GL accounting, consolidation, and internal controls. Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and analysis of accruals, prepaids, expenses, and other key accounts. Lead cross‑functional process improvement initiatives across Order‑to‑Cash, Procure‑to‑Pay, and Inventory Purchasing (including AR, AP, revenue, costing, logistics, and accruals). Support month‑end management reporting and financial analysis, including variance analysis, revenue and margin drivers, inventory and expense analysis, cash flow, and working capital metrics. Partner with business leaders across Sales, Operations, and Marketing to translate financial insights into data‑driven recommendations, challenge assumptions, and drive accountability. Track KPIs, evaluate pricing and cost optimization opportunities, and deliver actionable insights to improve profitability and investment decisions. Drive continuous improvement and transformation initiatives (treasury, banking, tax), standardize and automate reporting, and support audits and compliance requirements.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/or Finance. CPA or Master's degree is highly preferred. 3-5+ years of experience in a CPA firm. Experience in manufacturing or distribution is highly preferred. #LI-TM2 #LI-Onsite #
