Job Description

Treasury Analyst Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Treasury Analyst to support daily cash management operations and ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and reconciliation of cash flows. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient treasury operations through data analysis, transaction processing, and collaboration with finance and accounting teams. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in accounting or finance, hands-on experience with cash flow processes, and a high level of accuracy when working with financial data. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain daily cash flow (rollover) reports, tracking receipts, disbursements, and system-generated activity Assist in preparing book transfer tickets and wire cover letters in accordance with internal controls Process and upload ACH files accurately and in a timely manner Review and reconcile daily deposits against bank activity; investigate and resolve discrepancies Monitor and report fund balances from banking platforms and internal systems Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure alignment between cash and general ledger balances Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes related to treasury activities Prepare and post journal entries with proper documentation and compliance with accounting standards Assist with month-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting Utilize Excel for reporting, data analysis, and maintaining financial schedules Draft and update banking and treasury correspondence using Word templates Communicate with upper management approvers to obtain approvals and provide transaction support Collaborate with treasury, accounting, and finance teams on daily operations Participate in ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance At least 1+ year of relevant experience in treasury, accounting, accounts payable/receivable, or cash management Strong experience with bank and account reconciliations Understanding of cash flow processes, general ledger, and journal entries Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting Experience with ERP systems (Oracle or similar preferred) High attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial data Strong written communication skills, including professional email correspondence Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with Oracle or similar accounting systems Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, data analysis) Familiarity with ACH, wire transfers, and electronic payment processes Prior experience in banking or treasury operations Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, including template creation and editing Ability to work collaboratively within a finance and accounting team environment Flexibility to support extended hours during month-end close What We Offer Opportunity to grow within a dynamic finance and treasury function Exposure to key financial processes and leadership interaction Collaborative team environment with opportunities for process improvement and career development Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of White Plains, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
