Job Description

The Lead Analyst, Balance Sheet Management will provide reporting and decision support, complex financial analysis around balance sheet management strategy and objectives. 1) Produce and develop reporting on interest rate risk, liquidity, investments, derivatives and balance sheet management analysis for the Asset Liability Management Team and board ALCO review. Ensures proper policies, procedures, risk mitigation activities, and operating controls are followed. Reports gaps in policies, procedures, and operating controls to leadership to ensure member impact and risk is mitigated. (30%). 2) Develop complex ad hoc analyses and financial models to support financial decisions, in investments, funding, pricing, and asset liability management. Leverage analytical expertise, understanding of data sources, and knowledge of business performance and strategies to help support growth, drive and monitor results, and eliminate or mitigate potential risks (30%). 3) Translates ALM and other modeling results into meaningful balance sheet strategies through what-if scenario analysis. Supports modeling assumption development for all models and other modeling or forecasting responsibilities as needs arise. (20%) 4) Administer, maintain, and refine internal funds transfer pricing system (10%) 5) Special projects and other duties as assigned (10%)
