Cost Analyst:
  • Analyze manufacturing metrics including labor efficiency, material costs, scrap, inventory, overhead, throughput, freight, and cost per unit
  • Perform standard costing, variance analysis, inventory valuation, product costing, and ROI/business case evaluations
  • Investigate operational and financial trends to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions
  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and support month-end close activities
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, capital analysis, reporting, dashboards, and performance modeling
  • Support cost reduction initiatives by quantifying savings opportunities and validating financial results Qualifications of a
Cost Analyst:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
  • Experience in manufacturing required
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills with the ability to build financial models and performance analyses
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, Plex, or similar platforms EB-9691883979
