What the position is:

Support airline leadership in financial analysis and controls across a variety of project assignments in a high-growth environment.

Essential functions:

Assist with Forecasting & Budgeting process. Evaluation and reporting on expenditure requests. Assist with capital expenditure planning and preparation. Supporting the Cash forecast. Analyze staffing projections for assigned projects. Summarize and collect RFPs and vendor proposals. Profitability Analysis. Preparing PowerPoint presentations regarding business cases. Vendor contract review and analysis. Assist the Accounting team with accrual calculations for month-end close. Prepare monthly P&L variance analysis compared to budget and forecast. Reviewing invoices through the accounts payable workflow. Regular attendance is an essential function of all positions at CommuteAir. Other duties as assigned.

General Requirements:

4-year Degree in a related field, a degree in Finance or Accounting preferred. Prefer advanced degree - MBA or an additional 2 years of experience in a similar role. Strong financial modeling skills. Knowledge of accounting principles. Ability to use the Microsoft Suite of products, particularly Excel and Access. The ability to utilize proprietary systems as needed. Ability to quickly grasp situations and business needs and translate them into business cases and budgets. A work style that lends itself to diligent monitoring and the ability to facilitate corrective action. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language. Legally authorized to work in the USA. Organized with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities regularly.

Sedentary Work:
