Job Description

General Description Responsible for forecasting, researching, and budgeting for all Lucky Star properties. Tracks financial performance against budget and management plans. Assists in making recommendations for management and solving problems to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Work Schedule Requires morning, afternoon, and evenings. Some weekends and holidays maybe required. Request to be scheduled off for a specific day requires advance notification and approval. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Analyzes data, creates forecasts, and provides comprehensive budget.
  • Works closely with all levels of management, including Executive Management, General Managers, and Directors, with a strong emphasis on accounting support, budgeting, financial analysis, and financial training.
  • Provides by department reports on monthly/quarterly/annual basis, or as needed. Minimal travel to company locations may be required. Must exhibit STAR treatment to all customers and co-workers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Job Requirements Sit and/or stand continuously and perform job functions for a full shift with lunch break. Requires bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, lifting and pulling. Move objects up to and exceeding 25lbs. with reasonable accommodations. Office environment with some casino floor environment. Qualification Standards
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or similar) or 4+ years of accounting or related experience.
  • Must have strong computer skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis, as well as working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint) and other software required for the position.
Ability to work at both detailed analytical level and at summary level for projects and assignments with speed and accuracy. Must pass pre-employment drug test. Must be able to qualify and maintain a Cheyenne and Arapaho Gaming License. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
