This position provides dedicated financial management and resource support to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) Resource Management Branch (RMB), the position can be located in either Newport OR or Gulfport, MS. The analyst will be responsible for a range of critical financial activities, ensuring the accurate tracking, analysis, and reporting of budgetary and accounting data. Key Responsibilities Conduct budget tracking and in-depth financial analysis. Examine and interpret complex accounting data, including expenditure types, authorization amounts, and obligations. Develop and maintain robust financial tracking tools and reporting mechanisms. Compile, analyze, and reconcile a variety of complex transactions and accounts. Develop high-quality briefing materials for management and clients. Resolve management and client inquiries related to financial data and processes. Collect, verify, compile, and summarize financial data and information. Generate, process, and track financial documentation, while assisting senior specialists with more complex activities. Required Skills Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Must have a Bachelor's degree.
