Job Summary:
The Financial Analyst will support our pharmacy Account Management (AM) team in providing exemplary client service to achieve the goal of customer retention. This will include anything from modeling year-over-year benefit changes to monitoring the performance of our contracts to deep diving in the claims. The team provides recommendations for clients, demonstrates financial impact associated with any changes, and creates custom models among other ad-hoc projects. This role supports our 360 business, as well as IlluminateRx.
Essential Job Responsibilities Include:
The primary role of this position is to provide modeling and analytics that support the pricing of our RxB clients. Perform Account Management (AM) analytics/issue resolution. Recommendations for Plans, Custom Ad/Hoc Analytics, Custom Plan Design Analytics, Disruptions/Analytics for groups switching PBM/Formulary/Pricing/Maintenance Programs/etc. Data Translator and overall assistance for financial performance reports. Effective Rate Report, Reverse Reprice, Pricing Comparison, Rebate Projection. Weekly split of Stop Loss Inbox with team to manage new requests/issues/ad-hoc production. Support AM team in preparation of all client-related reports associated with financial performance. Provide detailed interpretation of financial reports to demonstrate the performance of our client contracts. Provide analysis for any underperformance against guarantees in effective rates / rebates / etc. Support AM team in development of the value proposition associated with financial guarantee performance. Drafting broker/client ready notes. Participation in reviews with broker/client. Provide analysis of Proposed Savings Projections against initial savings estimates for new groups. Dive into data to uncover potential issues / provide financial impacts. Provide custom analytics/modeling for ad-hoc projects as needed. Provide recommendations for plans based on available programs / current client setup. Serve as SME for all account related contract guarantee reports and provide training to the AM team as needed. Experience:
5+ years of pricing experience 5+ years of analytics experience 5+ years of PBM experience Strong understanding of PBM contracts, adjudication logic, and operations Demonstrated ability to perform a deep dive into claims data to understand contract performance, recognize issues, and deliver a concise user-friendly message on findings. High degree of data acumen, with exceptional ability to work in, and manipulate excel, as well as other data tools (SAS, SQL, Snowflake, etc) Excellent communication and relationship building skills Preferred Skills / Experience 1-3 years Underwriting experience is heavily preferred SFDC or other CRM experience preferred Based on relevant market data and other factors, the anticipated hiring range for this role is $73 ,600 to $92 ,000 annually. Final compensation rates will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, and internal equity considerations. This role is also short-term incentive eligible. Incentive amounts will vary by individual and business goals. We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
