Finance & Accounting Position Summary We are seeking a highly analytical and technology-savvy Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, and business decision-making across a growing organization. This role will partner closely with finance and operational leadership to improve forecasting accuracy, automate financial processes, and transform complex data into actionable business insights. The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with advanced data analysis skills and a passion for leveraging modern technologies, including business intelligence platforms and AI-powered tools, to drive efficiency and profitability. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning Support quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term financial projections Perform scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses to evaluate business initiatives, investments, and operational decisions Analyze business performance, operating costs, and profitability metrics to identify opportunities for improvement Automate financial reporting and workflow processes using modern data management, reporting, and AI tools Data Analytics & Reporting Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical tools using business intelligence platforms and advanced Excel capabilities Utilize AI-powered tools to accelerate analysis, automate reporting, and improve access to business insights Establish controls and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity Develop self-service reporting solutions for finance and operational stakeholders Integrate and analyze data from multiple business systems to support informed decision-making Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with finance, accounting, and operational teams to support business objectives Help standardize performance measurement and reporting across departments Evaluate the financial impact of operational initiatives, capital investments, and resource allocation decisions Present findings and recommendations to management in a clear and actionable manner Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field 5-7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or a related discipline Demonstrated ability to automate processes and improve efficiency using modern reporting and analytics tools Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with business intelligence platforms and database tools (such as Power BI, SQL, or similar technologies) Advanced financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical skills Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business recommendations Preferred Experience utilizing AI or large language model (LLM) tools to support financial analysis, reporting, or workflow automation Experience evaluating capital investment opportunities or large-scale business initiatives Exposure to operational finance and performance measurement in asset-intensive industries Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting processes Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications Target range is 110K to 130K Performance-based bonus opportunity Comprehensive health and dental benefits 401(k) retirement plan with employer contribution Paid time off and company holidays Professional development and continuing education support Opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a growing and innovative organization No relocation support and ideally seeking candidates in the Salem, Corvallis, Albany area.
