The Supply & Trading Analyst supports the company's refined and renewable products trading and supply operations through quantitative analysis of pricing, margins, inventory positions, and supplier performance. The role is responsible for generating timely market intelligence, supporting pricing and forecasting activities, and assisting with inventory allocation and contract analysis. This position works closely with supply, scheduling, and commercial teams to ensure accurate data flow and informed decision making across gasoline, diesel, ethanol, and biodiesel markets. This analyst serves as an analytical resource within a fast paced trading environment, partnering with internal stakeholders and external counterparties to support supply reliability, pipeline and terminal inventory management, and operational execution. The role requires strong attention to detail, comfort working with market and transactional data, and the ability to communicate insights clearly to cross functional teams. This position provides foundational exposure to energy trading, supply chain optimization, and commercial strategy within a growing energy organization. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support daily trading and scheduling activities across physical and financial energy markets Analyze market fundamentals, price movements, and supply/demand dynamics to support trading decisions Monitor positions, exposures, and P assist with daily and monthly reporting for traders and management Maintain and update trading models, spreadsheets, and internal databases used for valuation and risk analysis Assist with deal entry, trade confirmations, and coordination with back office and operations teams Track logistics, inventories, and contractual obligations tied to physical commodity transactions Perform hedge effectiveness analysis and support risk management initiatives Prepare regular market commentary, forecasts, and ad hoc analysis for internal stakeholders Support compliance with internal controls, trading limits, and regulatory requirements Analyze historical pricing data to identify trends, arbitrage opportunities, and trading strategies Coordinate with counterparties, schedulers, and operations on nominations, settlements, and discrepancies Assist in developing and improving analytical tools, reports, and processes Provide support during month end close, valuation, and audit processes Stay current on market news, regulatory developments, and industry trends impacting energy markets Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field from an accredited four year college or university 1 to 2 years of relevant experience preferred (energy markets, logistics, sales, customer service, or analyst roles), with energy industry exposure a plus Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem solving skills with the ability to make practical business decisions Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with Power BI and energy trading systems (e.g., RightAngle) preferred Solid understanding of supply, logistics, scheduling, or energy market fundamentals preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly to stakeholders Ability to manage tasks, prioritize workload, and maintain strong attention to detail Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team oriented environment and build relationships across organizational levels Positive, flexible attitude with strong organizational and time management skills Note:
