Job Description

The Wealth Management Investment Analyst Intern works closely with Investment Analysts and Wealth Advisors who help clients invest, manage, and deploy their financial assets. The intern gains exposure to a range of clients including individuals, business owners, and families with sophisticated investment and wealth management needs. Success Factors Responsibilities Gain exposure to a variety of investment strategies and wealth management solutions. Support investment research and analysis across asset classes, investment strategies, managers, funds, and individual securities. Assist with reviewing client portfolios, asset allocations, investment objectives, risk profiles, and performance. Help prepare investment reports, portfolio analyses, and materials for internal and client meetings. Conduct market and economic research to support the team's investment decision making. Collaborate with Investment Analysts and Wealth Advisors on portfolio related assignments and special projects. Work with team leadership to identify opportunities to improve investment processes and operating efficiencies. Build relationships with peers and team members at all levels of the organization. Participate in team building exercises, community outreach activities, and continuous learning and leadership development workshops. People Management/Relationships Take initiative to be a team player (seeks out opportunities to help others) Treat everyone with respect Develop loyalty and trust with the team Successfully adapt to different personalities and working styles Proactively and effectively communicate information regarding status issues to team members Hold self-accountable for assigned work; seek continuous feedback to learn and develop in role; open to new ideas and suggestions Required Skills Excellent organization skills and strong attention to detail Multi-tasker with the ability to prioritize work accordingly Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and interpersonal skills Ability to work autonomously under the pressure of tight deadlines and multiple priorities Education, Experience and Certifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management and/or related field Minimum GPA of 3.0 Desire to pursue a career within wealth management Excellent communication and analytical skills required Strong technical skills with the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment Essential Functions Must be able to remain in a stationary position as needed The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office and at client offices to access file cabinets, office machinery etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer Ability to communicate in a professional manner and exchange information with internal and external actors as needed Ability to lift/carry up to 20 pounds Ability to work outside of normal business hours and weekends as needed Ability to travel to local and non-local clients as needed, overnight travel may be required This job description is subject to change at any time and employee will be given additional responsibilities as assigned
