Job Description

firstPRO is seeking an experienced IT Financial Management Analyst to support the financial planning and operational management of its enterprise IT organization. This newly created position will play a key role in managing technology budgets, vendor relationships, procurement activities, and portfolio reporting while partnering closely with IT leadership to ensure strategic technology investments align with business objectives.   • 2 days onsite in Reading, PA Key Responsibilities Manage financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities across the IT organization.
Analyze budget vs. actual spending and provide variance reporting with actionable recommendations. Support technology investment planning through financial modeling and cost analysis. Review, validate, and reconcile vendor invoices to ensure billing accuracy and budget compliance. Manage technology procurement activities and monitor spending against approved budgets. Coordinate and administer Statements of Work (SOWs), purchase requests, and vendor contracts. Partner with IT leadership to monitor project financials and portfolio investments across multiple initiatives. Develop executive-level financial reports, dashboards, and presentations. Track vendor performance, spending trends, and cost optimization opportunities. Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, PMO, and IT teams to improve operational processes and financial governance. Identify opportunities to improve reporting, forecasting, and overall IT financial operations. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise IT organizations in a financial, business operations, or IT portfolio management role. Experience managing IT budgets, forecasting, and financial planning. Strong understanding of technology procurement, vendor management, and contract administration. Experience reviewing and validating vendor invoices and managing technology spend. Knowledge of Statement of Work (SOW) management and technology purchasing processes. Experience performing budget vs. actual analysis, variance reporting, and financial modeling. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, financial models, and complex reporting. Experience supporting enterprise technology initiatives or IT project portfolios. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information to both technical teams and executive leadership. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Power BI or Tableau. Background in IT PMO or Technology Business Operations. Knowledge of IT governance frameworks and portfolio management practices. Experience supporting cloud, infrastructure, or software licensing financial management. MBA or other advanced business or finance degree.
