Type:

full-time As a Finance Analyst, you'll provide critical accounting and financial support to plant and divisional operations by delivering accurate reporting, analyzing financial and operational data, and assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities. This role partners with cross-functional teams to support business performance, strengthen financial controls, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This is an entry-level professional role that performs recurring accounting and reporting activities, resolves routine issues, and contributes to continuous process improvement while working under general supervision. Key Responsibilities Safety Leadership Champion a safety-first culture by incorporating safe work practices into all responsibilities. Actively promote an environment where employee health and safety remain the top priority. Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare and maintain financial and operational reports that support plant and business decision-making. Research, analyze, and reconcile financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness. Assist with reporting and analysis related to: Fixed Assets Inventory Sales Customer Rebates Standard Costing Government Reporting Requirements Month-End Close & Accounting Support Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities, including: Journal entries Account reconciliations Variance analysis Expense reviews Trend analysis Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, management reports, and other business performance metrics. Budgeting & Business Support Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process. Provide financial insights and data analysis to assist operational and business leaders in achieving performance objectives. Controls, Compliance & Audit Support Help maintain strong internal controls and accounting procedures. Support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements through accurate documentation and adherence to established processes. Assist internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits. Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, procedures, and internal control requirements. Culture & Values Demonstrate and promote the Amcor Way in daily interactions and decision-making. Maintain a high standard of accuracy, accountability, and timely execution of responsibilities. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and business results. What We're Looking For Education Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline. Experience 1+ years of accounting, finance, financial analysis, or related business experience. Manufacturing, cost accounting, or plant finance experience is preferred but not required.
