Salary:
$7 5k - $85k Fashion Consumer Product company based in NYC seeks an Accounting Analyst to join their Team!
Responsibilities:
Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. Review and prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Prepare reports and analyses related to revenue, receivables, and cash flow. Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting standards. Assist with external audits by preparing supporting schedules and documentation. Identify opportunities to improve accounting and accounts receivable processes. Support special projects and ad hoc financial analyses as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2-5 years of accounting and financial analysis experience. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial analysis. Experience with account reconciliations Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP/accounting systems. Experience using AI tools.
