Competitive Benefits Package The Planet Group is currently seeking a Construction Finance Analyst to support a leading client in the semiconductor/construction industry . Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Business Analytics, or a related field, along with approximately 5-12 years of relevant experience supporting construction projects, cost management, project planning, budgeting, cash flow, and forecasting. Local candidates near Chandler, AZ are required for this hybrid role. Job Description Prepare and issue monthly and quarterly cash flow forecasts for the capital construction team. Prepare and issue monthly, quarterly, and total project funding and commitment forecasts. Manage and control capital project budgets and spending at the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) level. Create WBS codes and ensure proper scope alignment. Validate and approve purchase requisitions and change orders. Review project invoices and ensure proper coding and submission to the client's Accounts Payable department. Monitor and report on contractor buyout of subcontract bid packages, where applicable. Schedule and lead regular cost meetings with contractors and engineering teams to review budgets, spending, and change order status. Manage, validate, and track change orders. Perform monthly spend-to-forecast variance analysis and drive forecasts to spend within required acceptance ranges. Conduct risk and opportunity analysis. Prepare ad hoc financial and project reporting and analysis. Ensure compliance with reporting standards and corporate finance and accounting policies. Support the capital construction team with financial analysis, cost controls, forecasting, and project reporting. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Business Analytics, or a related field . Approximately 5-12 years of relevant experience . Strong cost management, finance, and/or project planning experience. Previous experience working on or supporting construction projects . Experience developing and managing budgets, cash flows, forecasts, and project funding plans . Strong attention to detail with the ability to work effectively with numbers and large amounts of data. Experience with data collection, management, reporting, and analysis. Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and presentation skills. Advanced Excel skills preferred. Working knowledge of industry-standard software including SAP, Power BI, and cost management applications . Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Adobe Acrobat, and related technology. Semiconductor, commercial, industrial, or refinery project experience preferred. OSHA 10-hour certification preferred. Ability to work 3 days per week onsite in Chandler, AZ . Local candidates near the Chandler, AZ area required. Must be available to start ASAP .
