Equity Analyst

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Equity Analyst to join our financial research and investment team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive financial analysis, developing strategic insights, and providing data-driven recommendations to support investment decisions. Your expertise will help shape our understanding of market trends, company performance, and industry dynamics. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage advanced analytical tools and financial concepts to influence investment strategies and drive business growth. Collect and analyze financial data from various sources, including Bloomberg, financial reports, and ERP systems, to evaluate company performance and market conditions. Develop detailed financial models using Microsoft Excel, VBA, and Power BI to forecast earnings, cash flows, and profit & loss statements. Utilize SQL, Tableau, and data visualization techniques to create compelling business intelligence dashboards that highlight key metrics. Conduct quantitative research and analysis on industry trends, competitive positioning, and economic factors impacting investments. Prepare clear and comprehensive financial reports, presentations, and strategic planning documents for internal stakeholders. Perform cost accounting, budgeting, and variance analysis to assess operational efficiency and profitability. Support forecasting efforts by applying financial concepts such as profit & loss analysis, cash flow analysis, and strategic planning methodologies. Proven experience in investment banking or corporate finance roles with a strong foundation in financial analysis and modeling. Hands-on experience with financial software including Hyperion, Bloomberg Terminal, Power BI, SQL databases, and ERP systems. Demonstrated ability to interpret complex financial data using tools like Pivot tables, Tableau, VBA macros, and data visualization techniques. Solid understanding of governmental accounting standards alongside corporate accounting practices. Excellent skills in financial report writing combined with the ability to communicate insights clearly to diverse audiences. Strong quantitative research skills with a focus on business analysis, forecasting accuracy, and strategic decision-making. A background in finance or related fields with expertise in financial concepts such as profit & loss management, budgeting processes, and business intelligence analytics.
