Includes heavy utilization of Aggie Enterprise and Cognos for payroll, monthly ledger review and reconciliation, data collection and data entry, analysis, review and control, customer servicing, and reporting. This position is part of the FOHR Finance team which is a centralized business team providing support to multiple departments within OCP. Each position is assigned specific units, but assignments can change based on operational needs.

  • For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field.
Experience in accounting, payroll, general ledgers, and running reports. Experience in maintaining accountability and establishing audit trails and internal controls. Experience using automated financial systems. Knowledge of fundamental financial management practices and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Financial management skills to extract data from multiple systems, analyze and reconcile data, and prepare reliable reports for communicating financial information to management. Organizational skills to effectively achieve timely progress on multiple simultaneous projects with frequent interruptions. Writing skills to prepare and edit a variety of critical correspondence, reports, presentations and informational documents. Skills to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other software applications to complete assigned projects independently. Preferred Qualifications Advanced data analysis skills in Microsoft Excel. Skill to interpret and apply federal, state and university rules, regulations and policies. Thorough knowledge of campus systems such as Aggie Enterprise, UC Path, and Cognos. Thorough knowledge and understanding of internal control practices and their impact on protecting University resources. Leadership skills to provide guidance, coaching and mentoring to professional and support staff. Key Responsibilities 50%

Manages highly sensitive, high-profile budget and finance actions and matters related to critical campus initiatives.
