Finance The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting operational and financial decision-making through rigorous analysis, forecasting and reporting. Partnering with operations, sourcing, quality, and supply chain teams to translate operational performance into financial insight, improve cost visibility, and support planning and performance management processes.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Financial Analysis and Business Insight 35% of time Analyze operational and financial data to evaluate cost drivers, margins, productivity, and profitability across manufacturing and supply chain activities Develop financial models to support cost analysis, scenario planning, and investment decision-making Perform variance analysis versus budget, forecast, and prior periods; identify root causes and clearly communicate insights Partner with operations leaders to quantify the financial impact of process changes, yield improvements, waste reduction, and sourcing decisions Budgeting, Forecasting and Planning 25% of time Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes Maintain rolling forecasts and track performance against plan Assist in developing volume, cost, and productivity assumptions in partnership with operational stakeholders Reporting, Dashboards and Performance Management 20% of time Prepare and maintain standardized financial and operational reporting for regular business reviews Build automated dashboards and reporting tools that link operational metrics to financial outcomes Ensure consistency, accuracy, and clarity of KIPs such as cost per unit, labor efficiency, inventory valuation, and yield Business Partnership and Process Improvement 10% of time Collaborate cross-functionally to understand operational processes and identify opportunities for financial and operational improvement Translate business questions into financial analyses that support decision-making Financial Controls, Data Quality and Governance 10% of time Partner with Finance, Operations, and Systems teams to ensure financial data integrity across ERP, inventory, and production systems Support month-end close activities related to operations, including accruals, inventory analysis, and cost reviews
WHAT YOU KNOW AND HAVE EXPERIENCED
Bachelor's Degree in Financial Analytics, Business, or related field 1-4 years of experience in Financial Analysis, FP&A, or cost accounting (preferably in manufacturing or CPG) Strong SQL, Excel, and BI tool skills (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) Strong analytical and financial modeling skills Working knowledge of ERP systems and operational finance concepts (inventory, standard costing, variances) Experience with data governance, data quality, or master data management is highly preferred
