This role requires a professional who can work independently, exercise judgment in handling sensitive issues, and perform monthly flux analysis between actuals and budget. Key Responsibilities Conducts annual capital and operations budget-related functions and ensures the integrity of budget information. Performs monthly flux analysis between actual and budget/prior year. Provides insightful analyses on trended Return on Equity and Rate of Return for both actual and budget. Updates and modifies the financial forecasting model and supports management in analyzing acquisitions and new business opportunities. Prepares, maintains, analyzes, and publishes financial and key matrix reports. Assists with data compilation for rate case filings and quarterly audit requests.
Minimum Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is required.
Experience:
Minimum of four years of related experience in Accounting/Finance.
Technical Skills:
Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel are required.
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience with JD Edwards Insights is highly preferred. Required Skills & Qualities Ability to read and analyze financial reports and respond to questions from internal/external auditors. High degree of initiative and the ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills. Excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all levels of management. High level of integrity and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Additional Requirements The individual filling this position will be required to both allow and pass a background check. Must be able to perform essential functions that may include sitting, typing, and reading for extended periods of time. #COR1
