Job Description Position Title:
Financial Analyst Wage:
Based on Experience We are partnering with a highly regarded manufacturing company in Franklin, WI to staff a Financial Analyst position. This full-time, direct hire role, reporting to the Accounting Manager, will support cost accounting operations, New Product Development (NPD) financials, and monthly close activities. This role plays a critical part in understanding production costs, analyzing variances, and supporting data-driven decision-making across Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams. The Financial Analyst will work closely with finance and management leaders and contribute to the financial success of new and existing products. A hybrid work schedule is offered!
Financial Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and present financial analyses for new product development projects
  • Prepare monthly close journal entries related to production activities
  • Review labor capacity entries and investigate variances
  • Accrue Work in Process (WIP) and Labor & Overhead (LOH) for open production orders
  • Review Purchase Price Variance (PPV) activity and prepare summary reports for Supply Chain, Executive Team, and Board review
  • Analyze production account variances versus budget and collaborate with Operations to resolve issues
  • Perform assigned balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Develop and maintain standard costs for all inventory items
  • Partner with Operations to recommend updates to cost routings for new or modified manufacturing processes
  • Review and analyze variances related to Released Production Orders (RPOs)
  • Collect and analyze data related to materials, labor, freight, and inventory costs
  • Establish freight costs to be added to raw material costs
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in costing processes
  • Perform inventory-related account reconciliations
  • Provide general financial support across the Finance team as needed Requirements for
Financial Analyst:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 4+ years of related accounting or financial analysis experience
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
