Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a Financial Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis. This role will partner with department leaders to monitor costs, analyze financial performance, identify trends and risks, and provide insights to support business decisions. Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and budget-to-actual variances. Monitor departmental expenses, cost allocations, and contract-related charges. Identify cost trends, potential overruns, and opportunities for improved financial performance. Prepare monthly financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership. Assist with month-end and quarterly close activities and financial reporting. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate cost categorization and financial reporting. Support internal controls and compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support operational and strategic decisions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus Experience in financial analysis, accounting, budgeting, or forecasting. Advanced Excel/spreadsheet and financial analysis skills. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret financial data and clearly communicate findings to financial and non-financial stakeholders. Knowledge of GAAP and SOX requirements preferred. Pay:
