Headquartered in Wisconsin since 1947. The Business The Custom Air Handling Unit (CAHU) business builds engineered-to-order air handling systems for complex commercial and institutional applications. Every unit ships with a unique configuration of materials, labor, and overhead content. That makes CAHU's finance work more varied than a standard product line: cost builds change job to job, pricing requires real-time collaboration with sales and engineering, and margin analysis has to account for a shifting product mix. The Role This is an operations finance position embedded in the custom air handling business unit. You report into Finance and partner directly with CAHU senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and capital investment decisions. Your analysis reaches decision-makers and shapes outcomes on pricing, capital allocation, and operational performance. Responsibilities Own the monthly financial close for CAHU, including revenue and expense variance analysis with written commentary for leadership review. Lead the annual budget and strategic planning process. Build the model, consolidate forecast schedules, and present results to senior leadership. Perform daily cost accounting across labor, materials, inventory, and work-in-process for an engineered-to-order product line. Identify cost and inventory variances, trace them to root cause, and recommend corrective action. Build cost analyses for new CAHU configurations, redesigns, and pricing changes. Support sales with quote development, discount multiplier analysis, and custom design computations. Prepare capital justifications and post-completion audits for manufacturing investments. Analyze sales trends, gross profit, and margin performance. Surface anomalies and bring recommendations. Develop tools and dashboards that convert SAP data into actionable reporting. Replace manual processes with better ones. What You Will Bring Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. 4-6 years in operations finance within a manufacturing environment. Engineered-to-order or custom product experience is a strong differentiator. SAP experience required. You should be comfortable pulling, validating, and structuring ERP data independently. Advanced Excel modeling skills. We value work that others can follow and maintain. Comfort presenting financial results to plant and business unit leadership. A bias toward improving processes, not just running them.

The starting base pay range for this position is $105,630-$130,485 and may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
