Job Description

Interacts with all levels of management to provide analysis and recommendations that support the organization's financial goals and strategic plan. Works with Administration and Finance leaders. Remote work can be considered for this position. Essential Functions All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's values: Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference. Prepares monthly Internal Financial Review. Prepares monthly financials, including current period performance, in-depth financial trend, variance analysis, and P&L analysis for Administration. Develops the annual operating budget including volumes, revenue, FTEs, salary, supply, and other expenses in accordance with system profitability targets. Reviews and monitors budget input and spread to minimize budget error . Works closely with Administrator/Director and departmental leadership to provide financial support in identifying issues pertinent to department financial operations. Monitors charge capture and analyzes reimbursement trends to determine the impact to net collections and causes for variance. Analyze bi-weekly productivity metrics to ensure staffing levels are appropriate. Partners with leadership on special projects, including proformas, process improvement initiatives and strategic planning. Performs other duties as assigned. Supervisory/Management Responsibilities This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive. Minimum Requirements Education - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or related field of study. Experience - Three (3) years of fi nance, accounting, or related experience In Lieu Of In lieu of the education and experience requirements noted above, the following combination of education, training and/or experience will be considered an equivalent substitution: Bachelor's degree can be in a discipline other than Finance, Business or Accounting if candidate has an MBA, MHA, or CPA. Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses None Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Ability to work with minimum supervision while prioritizing workloads to meet deadlines. Ability to critically review information and complete assignments with high accuracy. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
