Financial Operations Analyst Daley and Associates - 4.4 Quincy, MA Job Details Contract $40 - $50 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications Data analysis software Full Job Description Financial Operations Analyst We are currently seeking candidates for a Financial Operations Analyst opportunity with a large financial services firm in Quincy, MA. This role will support financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, procurement activities, and third-party vendor initiatives within a large corporate technology organization. The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of experience in financial services or another complex corporate environment, with strong financial acumen and hands-on experience supporting procurement, purchasing, or vendor-related activities. This Financial Operations Analyst position is a 6-9-month contract opportunity paying $40-$50/hour, depending on experience. The role requires 4 days per week onsite in Quincy, MA and 1 day remote.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain financial, procurement, and purchasing reports used to track spending and business activity. Perform financial analysis, quote comparisons, and pricing analysis to support purchasing and vendor decisions. Support procurement activities, including new requests, purchase orders, software and service purchases, contract renewals, and vendor spend tracking. Partner with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs, gather required information, and move requests through internal processes. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and ad-hoc financial reporting. Support third-party risk and data-sharing activities involving external vendors and service providers. Manage a high volume of requests across procurement, accounting, financial analysis, and vendor-related activities. Prioritize urgent requests, resolve issues, and maintain strong follow-through across multiple concurrent workstreams.
Qualifications:
3-5+ years of experience in financial services, financial analysis, procurement, accounting, or another complex corporate environment. Strong financial analysis skills with experience reviewing budgets, spend, pricing, quotes, or other financial data. Experience combining finance or accounting responsibilities with procurement, purchasing, vendor management, or third-party activities strongly preferred. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; Power BI experience preferred. Experience with enterprise platforms such as Workday, ServiceNow, Beeline, SharePoint, Power Apps, or similar business systems is a plus. Familiarity with third-party risk, information security, cybersecurity, or data-sharing concepts is helpful. Strong critical-thinking, organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently in a high-volume environment while effectively communicating with multiple stakeholders.
