Full Job Description Overview:
PORTFOLIO ANALYST FIXED INCOME WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

The Portfolio Analyst-Fixed Income supports the Senior Fixed Income Portfolio Managers in a variety of ways including data gathering and analysis, presentation preparation, ad hoc projects and some administrative tasks.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Prepare standard and customized reports and analysis for use with internal colleagues and/or existing/prospective clients. Maintain and expand economic database and corresponding charts. Monitor client portfolios and provide relevant information to the portfolio managers. Gather, analyze and report investment performance and relevant benchmark indices to portfolio management team. Interface with the research and investment management teams to ensure CNR's strategy is accurately reflected in client portfolios. Prepare PowerPoint presentations and any applicable content at the request of the portfolio managers. Conduct ad hoc research and/or analytical projects. Report on a specified topic on daily market calls and weekly strategy meetings.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Minimum of 4 years of computer experience required (e.g., MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a professional team environment Additional Qualifications Ability and willingness to learn new analytical tools and technologies. Strong interest in developing programming skills, particularly in Python and/or R; prior coding experience is a plus Experience in finance related role, preferably in investment management and services and professional team environment (relevant internship experience considered) Strong problem solving skills Ability to work independently and use sound judgment Strong analytical skills Excellent communication skills Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple deliverables Strong computer skills including excel modeling, data manipulation and graph creation as well as PowerPoint presentation preparation. Ability to learn the Firm's proprietary trading, portfolio accounting and bond analytics systems Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

Compensation Starting base salary: $65,296 - $104,304 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
