REMOTE Management Analyst (Commercial Banking) Needs to be local to: NY, CT, or NJ For immediate consideration use the link below: https://talentassistant.actalentservices.com/assistant/bookings/eCjgWw74 Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically strong Portfolio Management Analyst to support a growing commercial banking and financial services team. This role is designed for candidates with a strong administrative and financial analysis , offering the opportunity to grow into a Portfolio Manager position over time. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting loan portfolios, working closely with credit, underwriting, and relationship management teams, and maintaining high standards of accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Support the day-to-day management of a commercial loan portfolio, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely follow-up. Conduct financial analysis, including review of financial statements, cash flow analysis, and borrower performance trends. Monitor loan portfolios for risk exposure, covenant compliance, and upcoming financial reporting requirements. Track and manage loan covenants, ensuring proper documentation and escalation of exceptions as needed. Assist with credit reviews, underwriting preparation, and ongoing portfolio reporting. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including underwriting, credit, and relationship management teams, to ensure seamless workflow. Maintain organized and audit-ready credit files and loan documentation. Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency. Support relationship managers by preparing materials for client meetings and portfolio reviews. Essential Skills Prior experience supporting portfolio management, commercial banking, private banking, or financial services teams. Strong understanding of financial statements such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow. Experience with loan portfolio monitoring and covenant tracking and compliance. Proficiency in cash flow analysis and financial performance evaluation. Experience in borrower/client relationship management practices. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in document management and loan processing. Ability to improve operational efficiency and reporting accuracy. Work Environment The position follows a Monday-Friday schedule, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. While this is a remote role, candidates must be based in New York State and be willing to attend client meetings or in-office events in and around Poughkeepsie, NY. The role offers a clear path toward advancement into a Portfolio Manager position, providing high-performing individuals with the opportunity to take on increased portfolio ownership, client interaction, and credit decision-making responsibility over time. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Poughkeepsie, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $36.06/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
