Can also be involved in the selling of investments, such as stocks. Works mainly in investment firms, though can also be employed in lending institutions, corporate finance departments, banks or insurance companies.

The Sec & Derivative Intmd Assoc Analyst is an entry level position responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations
  • Transaction Services team.
The overall objective of this role is to assist in the clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions.
Responsibilities:

exchanges Perform Exchange Close Outs Process Option Expiration Break Resolution Reconciliation of physical products Friday expiry processing Identify policy gaps and enhance the streamlining of flows & processes Resolve settlement related issues and escalate as needed; recommend solutions to resolve complex issues Participate in the implementation of assigned projects, including new products, services and upgrades to platforms Monitor and provide solutions to errors to minimize risk to the Firm Contribute to the creation of customized reporting used to present information to management Support implementation of securities processing improvements Review and analyze derivative trade activities, procedures to reconcile cash/holdings and securities pricing. Develop and use knowledge of securities, processing practices and standards Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
2-5 years of relevant experience Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a structured, high volume, time sensitive, high risk and demanding environment. Futures trade processing and clearing
Education:
Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience Working Pattern Covering 11:00
