$43.20 - $48.07 ( Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.) The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in evaluating new business opportunities and supporting financial and operational decision-making. Approximately 75% of the role will focus on deal modeling and profitability analysis, while the remaining 25% will focus on FP&A support, process improvement, reporting, and ad hoc analysis. This is a highly collaborative position that partners closely with Regional Presidents, Product Owners, Sales Leaders, and other operational stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Deal Modeling & Financial Analysis - Approximately 75% Build detailed financial models to evaluate new sales opportunities. Analyze deal economics, profitability, and financial impact across: Neuromonitoring / IONM Surgical services Build financial models from scratch when existing templates are not sufficient. Enhance and improve existing financial modeling templates and tools. Evaluate the financial and operational implications of potential new business. Partner with Regional Presidents, Product Owners, Sales Leaders, and other stakeholders to develop business cases and support decision-making. Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights. FP&A & Process Improvement - Approximately 25% Prepare financial information and analysis for regional and operational business reviews. Support month-end close-related activities and processes. Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and analytical tools. Automate recurring reporting and analytical processes where appropriate. Improve the efficiency, accuracy, and usability of existing financial models, reports, and templates.
What We're Looking For:
Technical & Analytical Skills Expert-level Excel skills are required. Strong financial modeling capabilities, including the ability to build models from scratch. Experience working with large, complex datasets. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify trends, drivers, and opportunities within data. Experience with data visualization tools is preferred. Experience with Qlik Sense or similar platforms is a plus. Experience with Tableau or other BI/data visualization tools is highly relevant. FP&A & Finance Experience Strong background in FP&A, financial operations, or a related finance function. Experience partnering with operational and business leaders. Demonstrated experience with deal modeling, profitability analysis, and business case development. Comfortable working with labor-driven financial models, including staffing costs, utilization, and profitability. Corporate FP&A or financial operations experience is preferred. Candidates with investment banking experience may be considered, but this role is particularly well suited to professionals with hands-on operational finance and FP&A experience. Industry Experience Healthcare experience is a plus, but not required. Experience in staffing, workforce management, or other labor-intensive businesses is highly relevant. Experience understanding labor costs, staffing models, utilization, and margins is particularly valuable. #SONITN
