Position Summary:
The Financial Analyst (FA) partners with a team of management analysts to enhance performance at Conway Medical Center (CMC) and its affiliates by analyzing historical trends, benchmarking key metrics, and forecasting future oues. The FA also develops proformas, performs root cause analysis, and delivers accurate, timely data to support strategic decision-making across theanization.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting, finance, or health care administration required.
Master's Degree in closely related field preferred.
Experience
A minimum of three (3) years' data support experience required.
Specific experience in healthcare/hospital-based data support work preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
None Duties & Responsibilities:
Participates within an engagement team to determine CMC's needs, analyze and evaluate potential solutions, and assist in the implementation of rmended improvements.
Work in a team environment and provide input and support to team deliverables & presentations during each phase of a project.
Interact with various levels of hospital employees and is expected to build working relationships within the hospital management.
This position takes a broad approach to problem solving and develops an understanding of our hospital's needs & expectations.
Provide consultation to hospital directors and managers to help utilize resources most efficiently (labor, supply, and other), and will analyze, report, and develop rmendations to improve hospital financial performance.
Conduct productivity analysis, resource utilization, staffing levels and develop rmendations for labor budget and staffing allocations.
Providing support for capital planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Greet all patients and their apanying family members when applicable and provide exemplary customer service.
Work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues, physicians, and department heads.
Effectively utilize stronganizational skills.
Consistently display effective verbalmunication skills. Proficient understanding and use of technology/PC skills required.
Regularly exercise independent judgement.
Complete other duties as assigned by department leadership.
