Job Description
We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join a client team in Tennessee. This is a Contract position requiring onsite support in a collaborative environment, where the selected candidate will partner closely with finance leadership on reporting, forecasting, and day-to-day financial operations. The role is well suited for someone who combines strong analytical ability with hands-on accounting knowledge and a high level of comfort working across multiple financial processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop cash flow projections, monitor liquidity trends, and provide insights that support short- and long-term financial planning.
- Build and maintain financial models to evaluate performance, identify variances, and assist with business decision-making.
- Prepare journal entries and complete account reconciliations to help maintain accurate and timely financial records.
- Review purchasing card activity and employee expense submissions to confirm proper coding, accuracy, and policy compliance.
- Post accounts receivable transactions and provide additional support across both payables and receivables functions when priorities shift.
- Produce project-based and ad hoc financial reports for management, translating data into clear and actionable analysis.
- Assist with external audit preparation by organizing documentation, responding to requests, and supporting the review process.
- Use financial systems and advanced spreadsheet tools to analyze data, improve reporting quality, and streamline routine tasks.
