Job Description
Description We are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join a team in Memphis, Tennessee on a Long-term Contract basis. This opportunity is ideal for a finance specialist who combines strong analytical capability with hands-on experience in reconciliation systems and process support. The role requires someone who can work confidently in a fast-moving global environment, manage competing priorities, and maintain a high standard of accuracy and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Administer core BlackLine activities, including account grouping updates, reconciliation ownership changes, and related system maintenance tasks.
- Monitor incoming requests and resolve or route issues appropriately to ensure timely follow-up and closure.
- Maintain consistent service delivery by completing assignments within agreed deadlines and in line with established controls and operating standards.
- Support finance and accounting processes by analyzing issues, identifying practical solutions, and addressing requests with sound judgment.
- Assist with implementation-related activities by providing functional support, coordination, and issue tracking as needed.
- Review work for completeness and accuracy while helping uphold compliance expectations and internal control requirements.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external contacts to clarify needs, provide updates, and drive resolution.
- Manage multiple priorities independently in an evolving environment while adapting quickly to changing business demands. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis.
- Practical experience with BlackLine administration and support activities.
- Previous involvement in supporting a system implementation or similar process-related initiative.
- Strong understanding of accounting and finance fundamentals, including control and compliance awareness.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and perform well in a fast-paced global environment.
