Senior Treasury Associate
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF SUNSTRONG MANAGEMENT

THE SENIOR TREASURY ASSOCIATE POSITION
SunStrong Management is searching for a Senior Treasury Associate to support the day-to-day operations of the Treasury function, with a strong emphasis on Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation, bank account administration, and treasury operational support. This role is ideal for a candidate with foundational treasury experience who is eager to deepen their expertise, learn new processes, and grow into broader treasury responsibilities over time. The Senior Treasury Associate will play a key role in coordinating banking documentation, maintaining account records, reviewing bank agreements and formation documents, supporting payment execution, assisting with bank portal administration, and providing operational support to Treasury Managers across a variety of treasury activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
SENIOR TREASURY ASSOCIATE RESPONSIBILITIES
KYC, Banking Documentation, and Account Administration Lead and coordinate Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation requests with banking partners and internal stakeholders. Gather, review, organize, and maintain corporate formation documents, authorization documents, beneficial ownership information, and other materials required for bank onboarding and maintenance. Coordinate documentation for the opening, closing, and maintenance of corporate bank accounts and banking services. Maintain an accurate and current bank account registry, including account details, signers, user access, and related banking records. Review and interpret corporate formation documents, resolutions, and banking agreements in support of account management and KYC processes. Monitor documentation status and follow up with internal teams and banking contacts to ensure timely completion of requests in time. Treasury Operations Support Prepare and load wire payments in multiple bank portals in accordance with internal controls and approval requirements. Support day-to-day treasury operations, including bank account administration, transaction support, and related treasury activities. Assist Treasury Managers with operational projects, process execution, and special assignments as needed. Help ensure treasury policies, procedures, and controls are followed consistently and accurately. Identify opportunities to improve processes, create efficiencies, and enhance documentation practices across treasury activities. Bank Portal Administration and Controls Administer bank portal security, including setting up new users, modifying access, deactivating terminated employees, and assigning accounts to existing users. Perform and document quarterly user access reviews and other control activities. Assist in reviewing daily fraud filters and escalating unusual items as appropriate. Support internal control compliance related to banking access, payment setup, and account administration. Audit and Cross-Functional Support Support internal and external audit requests by gathering and organizing treasury-related documentation. Partner with cross-functional teams including Accounting, Legal, Tax, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Asset Management, and Human Resources to support banking and treasury needs. Serve as a dependable point of coordination for banking documentation and treasury administrative matters. Support Treasury Managers in additional areas of treasury as responsibilities expand and experience grows.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required. Approximately 3-5 years of relevant experience in treasury, banking operations, finance, accounting, or a related area. Exposure to KYC processes, bank account administration, treasury operations, or banking documentation preferred. Foundational understanding of treasury operations and cash movement processes. Ability to read, interpret, and work with bank agreements, corporate formation documents, and account-related documentation. Experience working with bank portals and payment systems is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, complete work. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Sound judgment in handling sensitive financial and corporate information. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with stakeholders across multiple departments and levels of management. Eagerness to learn, build new skills, and grow into broader treasury responsibilities over time. Proactive mindset with an interest in improving processes and creating efficiencies.
