Full Job Description Summary:
This position will be primarily responsible for maintaining the company's product costs while continually analyzing costs of manufactured goods, analysis and reporting of several management reports and support to plant operations management with products costing information.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Set up and maintain BOMs and Routings for Finish Goods Products in QAD ERP System. 2. Perform Standard Cost Roll up process, analyze and inform about cost change variances. 3. Assist in preparation of cost estimates for new FG products. 4. Review work orders transactions and identify if any costing errors. 5. Coordinate and perform the month end close for work orders. 6. Review, analyze and perform inventory adjustments in QAD ERP system. 7. Perform month-end and year-end closing activities including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations. 8. Assist and review cycle counts performed by the materials department and process the corresponding inventory adjustment in QAD ERP system. 9. Coordinate and assist with year-end Physical Inventory activities. 10. Assist with Annual external audit requirements. 11. Prepare and analyze slow moving and obsolescence report for management review. 12. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance. 2. Five years of experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent. 3. Attention to details and strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively throughout all levels of the operations in a team environment. 4. Able to work independently and meet strict deadlines. 5. Strong computer skills. Experience in ERP systems, QAD experience is a plus. 6. Valid Passport and US VISA. The position is based in Reynosa, MX plant, but may require frequent work in the Mission, TX offices. 7. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish preferred
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
