Following the start of analog wafer production in 2025, we are now embarking on a significant strategic expansion, planning up to four factory cleanrooms. This expansion is a cornerstone of TI's long-term strategy to build the manufacturing capacity required to support global customer growth for decades to come. The SM Financial Planning Analyst serves as a high-impact business partner to site leadership. You will be responsible for orchestrating disciplined capital management strategies , governing strict financial compliance , and driving the cost competitiveness of our growing manufacturing footprint. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape the success of a multi-billion dollar expansion and influence decisions that directly impact TI's long-term manufacturing success.
Key Impact Areas Strategic Capital Management:
Lead the financial oversight of our capital investments, including the planning and execution of SM 1, 2, 3, and 4 expansions. You will ensure all capital deployments are optimized for maximum financial return and aligned with TI's long-term roadmap.
Financial Governance & Compliance:
Act as a primary safeguard for site integrity by ensuring strict adherence to all applicable policies and procedures. You will play a critical role in auditing and strengthening internal controls, particularly regarding large-scale construction projects and future site development.
Executive Leadership & Decision Support:
Provide high-level strategic recommendations to VP and SVP-level management. You will translate complex financial data into actionable insights regarding P&L performance, cost-savings initiatives, and capital ROI.
Cross-Functional Partnership:
Collaborate closely with finance, accounting, tax, manufacturing, and facilities leadership teams to drive alignment for site-level financial execution with company-wide strategy.
Job Purpose and Responsibilities Capital Investment Oversight:
Manage the financial lifecycle of site expansion projects, ensuring rigorous tracking of capital expenditures (CapEx) and alignment with projected financial returns.
Compliance & Internal Controls:
Co-work with policy and procedure owners to proactively test, assess, and strengthen internal controls. Ensure 100% compliance with financial protocols, specifically regarding construction accounting and site-specific financial workflows.
Cost Leadership & Strategy:
Drive cost competitiveness by identifying gaps in results and processes. Partner on the coordination of financial strategies for annual and strategic roadmaps.
P&L Accountability:
Maintain full responsibility for factory P&L knowledge, with a specialized focus on the intersection of cost-savings initiatives and capital investment efficiency.
Ad-hoc Strategic Analysis:
Provide rapid-response financial modeling and analysis for fab and manufacturing leadership to support real-time decision-making. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Operations, or a related field. 2 years of industry finance experience, semiconductor, construction, or manufacturing finance experience a plus. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Spotfire, and SharePoint. Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and lead cross-functional collaborations.
Preferred Qualifications Previous Experience:
Exposure and training in a manufacturing, industrial, construction, or other operational environment setting.
Advanced Analytical Skills:
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, particularly regarding complex capital structures and cost modeling.
