Job Description

J We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. This role is critical to supporting the organization's financial planning, reporting, and strategic decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will partner closely with executive leadership to develop financial insights, build complex models, and support key initiatives including budgeting, forecasting, and asset/liability management (ALM). This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic and regulated financial institution. Key Responsibilities Core Responsibilities Support the CFO in financial analysis, modeling, and strategic initiatives Develop, maintain, and analyze complex financial models, including stress testing scenarios Assist in ALM reporting, including preparation of IRR and risk management reports Partner with the Controller on the annual budgeting process, ensuring accuracy of assumptions and data inputs Maintain and improve budgeting and reporting systems, models, and financial structures Additional Responsibilities Analyze deposit and loan pricing to support profitability and rate strategies Monitor liquidity needs, including
FHLB/FRB
advance analysis Develop and maintain ad hoc financial and operational reports Aggregate and analyze data from multiple systems to deliver actionable insights Prepare quarterly Board reporting packages and support strategic planning initiatives Participate in special projects and process improvement efforts Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required CPA designation preferred Experience 5-7 years of relevant experience, which may include: Financial analysis and modeling Credit or investment analysis ALM or ALCO support Budgeting and forecasting Bond accounting or trading Experience with tools such as S&P Capital IQ, Cognos, ALM software, or similar platforms preferred Skills & Competencies Advanced Excel and strong technical data skills Experience working with large datasets, databases, and query tools Strong understanding of financial statements and modeling techniques Proven analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial insights clearly Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Work Environment & Physical Requirements Professional office setting with moderate noise levels Primarily sedentary role requiring extended periods at a computer Regular use of standard office equipment Occasional travel for meetings or training Ability to review detailed financial data and reports Light lifting (up to 10-15 pounds) may be required Why Join Us?
