Job Description
The Finance Shared Services Analyst plays a vital role in supporting the organization's financial operations and efficiency by working within a centralized finance department. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide comprehensive financial and accounting support to multiple business units or departments within the organization. The analyst will collaborate with various stakeholders, including finance teams, business leaders, and external partners, to ensure accurate and timely financial processing and reporting.
Position Responsibilities may include:
Setup all new customer with Mincron/Mapics/Vertex Environment Maintain customer master information in Mincron/Mapics/Cforia/ Vertex environment such as: customer name, address, phone , fax, e-mail address sales tax status Documentation retention & retrieval Requires research & due diligence via internal & external resources Update customer accounts Communicate with external and internal customers via e-mail, phone and/or fax Extract Data & Decision Making Data validation with external references Implementation & on going maintenance of Vertex, Sales Tax Program Documentation retention & retrieval Process improvement processing Reporting requirements as assigned Other duties as assigned byManager Nature & Scope:
Works within well-defined instructions Uses established procedures and works under supervision to perform assigned tasks Work is closely supervisedKnowledge & Skills:
Experience and/or education in accounting or information technology Strong analytical skills Analytical thinker with attention to detail Works well independently Intermediate Excel experience Strong customer service skills Strong phone etiquette and written communication skills Work experience in manufacturing environment preferred Knowledge of sales tax resale certificate Vertex Software knowledge preferable Strong computer skills includingMicrosoft Office Applications Experience:
1-3 years' experience is preferredEducation/Certification:
High school diploma or GED equivalentPeople Management:
