The CSIM Security Operations Team within the Trade Operations Team (TOPS) provides support and oversight to the Portfolio Managers (PMs) & Credit Analysts as it relates to the daily trading and review of issuers and securities on behalf of the Schwab mutual fund and exchange traded fund (ETF) products. We hold ourselves to the highest of standards and strive to create a strong functional atmosphere in which our business partners can focus solely on making effective decisions for our funds and our clients.
Responsibilities include:
Set up and maintain credit entities and securities and all other relevant attributes within the systems Validate and monitor internal and external credit ratings, outlooks and watches Request final documentation and perform review for accuracy and material changes Work with business partners to research/resolve issues related to data discrepancies Daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc reporting to business partners Assist in the completion of operational projects Find efficiencies in our current workflow Liaison between PM, Credit Analysts and Operational Teams Provide support for managers on critical issues What you have Bachelor's Degree Required 1-3 years of experience in financial operations preferred Familiarity with equity or fixed income instruments Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions Require little instruction on day-to-day work in operational processes Ability to identify and solve issues proactively and independently Strong communication, teamwork, and relationship building skills Ability to work a flex 8 hour schedule 7:00am - 4:00 pm CST BlackRock's Aladdin system experience preferred but not required In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
