We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Ogden, Utah . This onsite role partners closely with plant leadership to drive financial performance, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will leverage strong analytical and accounting expertise to support forecasting, budgeting, cost accounting, capital investment analysis, and financial reporting while helping maximize operating income and cash flow. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including: Benefits starting Day 1 11 paid holidays + 1 floating holiday 3 weeks PTO 1 week sick time (subject to applicable state and local laws) 401(k) with company match Employee Education Reimbursement Program Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Bonus opportunities for eligible positions Relocation assistance provided for qualified candidates Key Responsibilities Lead monthly forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning activities Analyze financial results, identify variances, and provide actionable recommendations Prepare reports that summarize business performance and forecast future financial results Support capital project planning, tracking, and fixed asset management Partner with plant leadership to improve operational and financial performance Lead internal controls, SOX compliance activities, and audit support Prepare journal entries, closing workpapers, and cost accounting analyses Monitor inventory valuation, production costing, and working capital performance Develop and automate reports, dashboards, and KPIs to improve decision-making Serve as a subject matter expert for JD Edwards and support business process improvements Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 6+ years of experience in public accounting, finance, or accounting Cost accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience with ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Microsoft Power BI Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications CPA designation MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Experience supporting manufacturing, mining, or industrial operations Physical Requirements This position is primarily office-based and requires the ability to perform standard computer and administrative functions.
