Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Finance Resources Generalist to provide comprehensive financial management, accounting, and customer support services within a highly dynamic federal environment. This role serves as a senior financial resource responsible for processing and analyzing complex financial transactions, maintaining financial data integrity, interpreting financial policies, and providing technical guidance to internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, extensive knowledge of federal financial management principles, and experience supporting automated financial systems. Key Responsibilities Perform a broad range of financial management and accounting activities supporting organizational operations. Prepare, analyze, reconcile, and maintain General Ledger accounts, financial records, and supporting documentation. Process accounts payable transactions, vendor payments, travel reimbursements, and miscellaneous financial transactions. Review financial documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established policies and procedures. Monitor invoice activity to ensure sufficient funding is available prior to approval and disbursement. Research financial regulations, policies, and procedures to resolve complex financial issues and customer inquiries. Interpret financial policies and serve as the first level of review for policy-related questions. Maintain financial data integrity across multiple automated financial systems and databases. Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure accurate financial reporting and recordkeeping. Analyze accounting data, reconcile discrepancies, and implement corrective actions as necessary. Process corrective vouchers and update financial records to maintain accurate accounting information. Establish, monitor, and periodically validate commitments and obligations in accordance with financial guidelines. Originate and maintain financial data within Sponsor-specific financial systems. Analyze and test financial system interfaces to ensure accurate accounting and financial reporting. Support system development initiatives through functional testing, validation, and reporting. Create ad hoc reports and provide recommendations based on financial data analysis. Serve as a liaison between system developers and end users to resolve complex financial system issues. Provide technical and functional support to users of financial systems, including troubleshooting and issue resolution. Develop and deliver training materials, tutorials, and user guidance for financial systems and business processes. Monitor electronic communications and respond to financial inquiries from internal and external customers. Assist management with the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and workflow improvements. Ensure compliance with federal financial regulations, accounting standards, and organizational policies. , Required Skills Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Extensive experience supporting financial management, accounting, or budget operations within the Federal Government or Intelligence Community.
