Job Requirements Springfield, VA Top Secret/SCI Polygraph Unspecified Senior Level Career (10+ yrs experience) $200,754 - $229,708 Job Description As the lead contractor expert, this individual provides senior-level expertise to government executive leadership on Major System Acquisitions and portfolio-level strategy. This role is responsible for coordinating enterprise-level planning, resolving the most complex programmatic challenges, and shaping future acquisition policy by providing authoritative analysis and recommendations on the organization's most critical programs. Work at this level involves an extraordinary degree of specialized knowledge or expertise performing highly complex and ambiguous assignments that normally require integration and synthesis of a number of unrelated disciplines and disparate concepts.

Duties May Include:

• Serving as the lead contractor expert to government executives, providing authoritative analysis and recommendations on acquisition strategy, portfolio management, and program execution.
• Leading the contractor team in supporting enterprise-level strategic planning, including the drafting of long-range investment roadmaps and capability portfolio analyses.
• Developing and presenting recommendations for piloting innovative acquisition strategies (e.g., Middle Tier of Acquisition) to accelerate capability delivery.
• Preparing executive-level briefing materials to support government leadership in high-level forums, including the defense of program strategies to external oversight bodies.
• Coordinating the contractor effort to resolve complex, multi-faceted programmatic issues and presenting integrated solutions to the government.

Requirements Required Skills:

• TS/SCI
• Industry leader with exceptional expertise relevant to field, compliant with GSA standards.
• Specialized experience providing direct support to Major System Acquisitions, including cost, schedule, performance, and risk management.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Expert-level knowledge of the full DoD/IC acquisition lifecycle, policies, and procedures.
• Demonstrated experience leading and performing technical, financial, schedule, and risk management activities for complex programs.

Desired Skills:

• A Master's Degree and/or industry certifications in program management or a related field.
• Two (2) or more years of direct Program Management experience managing projects within the IC.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) as it applies to Sensor Systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the relationship between NGA and the NRO.
