Financial Analyst 2
Job Summary:
Talent Software Services is in search of a Financial Analyst for a contract position in Redmond, WA. The opportunity will be for three months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.
Position Summary:
Join our dynamic team to support the Consumer Sales organization by providing financial guidance and insights across various products and devices. Collaborate closely with product groups, marketing, GTM, and other finance teams to drive success. The main functions of this role include gathering and analyzing financial information and conducting quantitative analyses to influence investment programs. The role involves analyzing and communicating financial information for clients. Support SKU analysis by sourcing base data, cleaning and standardizing input for critical specifications, and mapping silicon family and generation data. Collaborate with teams to automate SKU analysis and create Power BI reports.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Contribute to building a new analytics database by integrating data from multiple third-party sources. Coordinate data sets across several finance teams. Create standardized views and deliver Power BI dashboards for global market insights. Assemble spreadsheets and create charts and graphs to illustrate technical reports. Analyze financial information to forecast business, industry, and economic conditions for investment decisions. Interpret data affecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability, and future trends in investment risks.
Qualifications:
Candidates must have proficiency in Excel, Power BI, dashboards, data visualization, and experience working with large datasets. Building dashboards (Power BI strongly preferred). Working with large datasets and database structures. Financial data analytics experience. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Bachelor''s degree in accounting or a related financial discipline required. An advanced degree is preferred. 2-4 years of financial and/or accounting experience required. Excel (2-4 years). Data Analysis (2-4 years). Power BI dashboards (2-4 years). Experience in data analysis. Proficiency in Excel and Power BI. Strong communication skills.
Preferred:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking. Ability to work independently and manage one''s time effectively. Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses. Knowledge of economic and accounting principles, financial markets, and financial data reporting. Familiarity with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations related to accounting.
