Financial Analyst Argus Professional Services Madison, WI Job Details Full-time $100,000 - $110,000 a year 8 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Financial planning Sales analysis Bachelor's degree GAAP Accounting standards Manufacturing Bachelor's degree in accounting Full Job Description Our international manufacturing client in the Madison, Wisconsin area is seeking a dynamic finance professional with 3-8 years of experience and strong understanding of manufacturing P&L. This is a high visibility role and central to all parts of the business and will be a good step to a leadership role in Financial Planning and Analysis or perhaps to become a Plant Controller. Our client offers a good benefits package and has a good work/life balance. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the FP&A function, supporting financial planning and analysis across the business. Improve financial reporting procedures related to required categories for management reports and summaries. Maintain accurate processes to verify various levels of financial data. Assist with preparation of monthly and intermittent presentations for leadership. Support the development and management of the accounting environment, including reporting and analysis. Participate in accounting processes, including invoice reviews and spending analysis. Assist in developing budgets as well as quarterly and monthly forecasting. Provide analytical support to executive and senior leadership to aid business decision-making. Support initiatives and roll-outs of new technologies. Collaborate closely with other units to implement reporting tools and processes that ensure accurate reporting. Support sales and operational analysis by gathering and analyzing data related to customers, product lines, parts, operating variances, overhead expenses, and other key metrics. Partner cross-functionally with leadership and operational teams to help achieve plant and divisional objectives. Identify and resolve technical accounting matters and provide GAAP guidance and recommendations through documented accounting position papers. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required with 3-8 years' broad business experience and strong GAAP knowledge. Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver efficient financial planning and reporting processes aligned with strategic business goals. Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Pay:
