Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Asset Backed Securitization Specialist to join our financial services team. In this role, you will be responsible for structuring, analyzing, and managing asset-backed securities (ABS) to optimize financial performance and mitigate risks. Your expertise will support the development of innovative securitization strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and enhancing our ability to deliver tailored financial solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of structured finance, leveraging advanced data analysis and financial modeling techniques to drive strategic decision-making. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive data mining and collection to identify suitable assets for securitization, including loans, receivables, or other financial assets. Develop and refine complex financial models using tools such as VBA and specialized financial software to evaluate cash flow projections, risk factors, and creditworthiness of underlying assets. Perform rigorous risk analysis and statistical analysis to assess potential vulnerabilities in securitized portfolios, incorporating quantitative research methods. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure asset-backed securities that meet investor requirements while adhering to legal and regulatory standards. Utilize financial concepts such as cash flow analysis, credit analysis, and underwriting principles to support the creation of robust securitization transactions. Engage in negotiation with stakeholders including investors, rating agencies, and legal teams to optimize deal terms and ensure successful issuance. Monitor ongoing performance of securitized assets, applying fraud prevention and detection techniques to identify anomalies or signs of default early on. Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations that clearly communicate complex analyses and recommendations for internal stakeholders and clients. Qualifications Proven experience in financial analysis, modeling, or related roles within banking or financial services industries. Strong knowledge of financial concepts including cash flow analysis, credit analysis, risk assessment, and statistical methods. Proficiency in data modeling tools such as VBA; experience with financial software platforms is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability in quantitative research, data mining techniques, and statistical analysis to inform decision-making processes. Familiarity with underwriting standards, fraud prevention strategies, and regulatory compliance related to asset-backed securities. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly across diverse teams. Solid understanding of banking operations, financial report writing, and the fundamentals of structured finance products like ABS. Strong mathematical skills coupled with a keen eye for detail; ability to synthesize large datasets into actionable insights.
