As a Sr Finance Manager within PNC's Shared Services organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, or Birmingham, AL.
  • This role is within Shared Services Finance in support of Technology and more specifically the Presidents CIO organization.
  • The individual will manage a team of 3 associates and interact directly with Technology CIO's and their respective Business Offices.
  • Responsibilities include: o Management and Oversight of full set of financials for Technology segments supporting Retail Banking, Lending, AMG, C&IB, etc.
o Activities involved include analysis and review of monthly financial results, creation of monthly expense forecast, and annual expense and staffing levels. o Ad hoc analysis including creation of business cases to support investments within Technology. o Financial analysis on staffing models for third party labor. o Review and approval of monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, balance sheet substantiation, etc. o Direct communication and presentation of monthly results to business partner(s).
  • Technology skillsets preferred but not required include Hyperion, Oracle Financials, VNDLY Third Party Resource Management.

  • + Manages and oversees preparation of timely, transparent, and succinct financial reports to enable informed decision-making by stakeholders.
Works to create a high performing inclusive team. Generally manages a larger team supporting one or more business sub-segments or functional units, or manages a complex business sub-segment or functional unit. + Manages annual budget cycle and continuous monthly forecasting. Manages development of long term strategic plans. Reviews and interprets key financial forecasts and metric-driven performance dashboards to inform strategic business insights. + Structures and manages on-demand analysis and reports to address specific business needs. Works closely with Accounting Policy on new accounting standard adoptions affecting their business. Performs technical financial research and documentation on issues affecting their business. + Structures and monitors the preparation of reports and analysis in response to requests and requirements of audit, regulatory, and investors .Communicate directly with external constituents. Promptly identifies and addresses control matters; maintains sound control processes. May also contribute to risk review and challenge for assigned business. + Demonstrates executive presence and the ability to effectively communicate directly with senior leaders and influence colleagues across all organization levels. Forges partnerships with colleagues across departments to ensure alignment and shared success.   • Base Salary:
    $80,000.00
  • $149,500.00 Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
