Work you'll do As a Business Financial Manager on the Controllership and Treasury Transformation team, you will be responsible for... Serving as a Business Financial Manager (BFM) for a federal finance organization and advising federal stakeholders on financial matters affecting assigned initiatives Supporting all phases of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) cycle, including budget exhibit development, unfunded requirement requests, budget formulation, and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) activities Driving financial execution by tracking obligation benchmarks, establishing and monitoring phasing plans, and processing budget requirements through the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system Analyzing financial data using Microsoft Excel and ADVANA to review fund status, identify trends, and support funds control and monitoring Using Program Budget Information System (PBIS) reporting and developing executive-level briefings and actionable reporting to support financial decision-making A successful candidate would possess these skills: Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team Effective written and verbal communication skills Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product Ability to build and sustain professional relationships Ability to lead projects or workstreams Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor Ability to meet deadlines Ability to mentor and provide clear guidance to others The team Deloitte's Government & Public Services (GPS) practice - our people, ideas, technology and outcomes - is designed for impact.
